If I had to describe this book in two words?: smart and fun.
I low key disliked this book and it’s message, did it even have a message? Kind of offensive and not sure why this has become a classic children’s story.
Lunar Abundance = regulating life through observation of the moons monthly cycles, and eight phases, which contains universal wisdom about the Yin mode of being and the Yang mode of operating. Mentioned benefits = improved menstruation, peace, effectiveness, gentle transformation, self knowledge and acceptance, connection to self and others.
Quick and cute story about a boy’s toy velveteen rabbit.
Overall I was a bit disappointed in this book, but still wanted to finish it. I felt like it did not have much of a plot and nothing exciting or interesting really happens until the end. I did enjoy the way the story was told, the level of detail helps to give rich visuals. It was cute and a good read, but I was expecting more.
This story picks up where the first book left off, making them flow well together. I loved this story! I read it in about a day I just couldn’t put it down.
I really enjoyed this short book and will probably re-read it each Fall. It gives just the right amount of creeps.
Autumnal vibes poetry about grief, life after loss, family, and rebuilding a life. I found this short poetry book to be deeply emotional, I cried a couple times, laughed out loud, and felt my heart go along a journey of growth with the author.
Overall I found the story entertaining and a great way to pass time while cleaning, etc. (I listened to the audiobook version).
I feel this book is created for beginner pagans and witches who do not have, or have not read many other beginner books. If you purchased this book just for the spells because you found those intriguing, then it would be more than just a beginner book, as it has many chapters of spells. The book covers all the normal basics, such as a brief history, lists of correspondences, tools, altar and shrine set up, different paths of witchcraft, Gods and Goddesses, plants and crystals, and more. However none of these topics are discussed in much depth.
